Palo Alto Community Fund has one grant cycle per year which begins at the start of the calendar year. Grant applications are due in early February and grants are usually announced in April.
The Fund usually gives 20-25 grants per year that range from $2,500 to $10,000 and focus on: Arts and Culture; Community Development and Social Services; Education; Environment; Health, Mental Health, and Disabilities; Housing and Nutrition; Senior Services; Youth and Families.
Since 1979 Palo Alto Community Fund has made 477 nonprofit grants to over 181 organizations totaling $2.5 million.
The grant application for 2012 grants is available for download as word document (3 pages) or a pdf. Completed applications for 2012 grants are due by 5 PM on Wednesday, February 15, 2012. Applications should be sent to:
